Reports reaching Basketballghana.com indicate money issues and indecisiveness were the reasons for Teshie Rangers failure to meet the registration deadline for the Accra Basketball League Men’s Division I.
The young side failed to register for the upcoming season on February 24 at the Lebanon House Courtyard in the Division; the 2017 season tips off on March 10.
Investigations by Ghana’s leading hoops portal reveal the side was not decided about playing in the league this season and financial challenges are part of the reasons Rangers failed to meet the deadline.
Rangers team official who did not want be named stated the side will exhaust all possibilities to get back on the roster for the season since those challenges have been resolved when Basketballghana.com made contact with the team.
Rangers placed eight on the 10 team roster last season and made it to the playoffs in its debut appearance.
The side however, lost to eventual champions Braves of Customs in the first round.
