Tudu Magic and Ghana Navy have qualified to the quarter finals of the Campaign Tournament following wins over AK Rifles and Junior Reformers in Group C.
The tournament is a curtain raiser of the Tema Community Basketball League which is set to tipoff close to the end of March and is scheduled to end on March 12.
Magic topped Group C by winning all three games in impressive fashion and state its title winning intentions ahead of the league campaign.
The side beat Reformers 22-16 and Navy 25-19 to seal qualification to the next stage.
Navy on the other hand, beat AK Rifles 19-13 and Reformers 41-22 before losing to Magic to finish second in the group and qualify alongside Tudu.
Both teams compete in the Accra Basketball League which tips off on March 10.
Rifles finished bottom of the group after failing to win any game in the competition. Aside losses to Magic and Navy, the team lost 22-24 to Reformers. Community 5, originally scheduled to compete in Group C, has been shipped to Group due to administrative reasons.
Navy and Magic join Nungua Coldstore, Communtiy 2, Tema Heat and Ashaiman Lions in the quarter finals.
