Tema’s Community Basketball League pre season competition, the Campaign Tournament, returns later today at the Tema Community 4 Court with games set to feature teams in Group C.
The League is set to commence in late March with an expanded field from last season’s 10 team roster.
The competition’s third week will have AK Rifles, Tema Community 5, Ghana Navy and Tudu Magic slug it out for spots in the quarter finals due to be played on March 12. Only the top two teams qualify from each group for the latter stage.
This will be the debut appearance for the Accra Basketball League Men’s Division contingent participating in the curtain raiser event.
Tudu Magic and Ghana Navy are part of a six team representation in Tema. DC Dynamics headline the remaining members who are housed in Group D.
Teams in the Accra Basketball League are also preparing for the upcoming season with the league scheduled for a March 10 tipoff.
Four teams including Tema League Champions Nungua Coldstore have qualified to the quarter finals.
