Ashaiman Lions and Ashaiman Warriors will be involved in games in the Tema Community Basketball League on Sunday May 28.

The pair will take on big challenges in Groups A and B respectively over the weekend. Lions entertain defending champions Nungua Coldstore in Group A while the Warriors compete against host team Tema Community 4.

Last season’s beaten finalist Lions has maintained its top form by winning all three games it has been involved in thus far in the season.

Warriors on the other hand have had an up and down journey in its debut campaign in the league and will have their hands full against the home team.

The last time both teams competed on the same night, both sides won with Warriors topping Don BOsco Giants 28-24.

Lions tie against Nungua is the final game scheduled for the round but Teshie Rangers will be involved in the opening game against Reformers of Prisons in Group A.

Warriors matchup opens proceedings in Group B before Tema Heat plays Ghana Navy.
