Only two NBA games were played before the All-Star Weekend break and, as expected, there was no shortage of excitement as the Wizards had an elating game in Indiana and the Bulls and Celtics took it all the way to the final play.
Wizards enchant Pacers
A scorching start to the game helped the Washington Wizards defeat the Pacers 111-98 in Indiana. Otto Porter Jr had 25 points and eight rebounds, Markieff Morris had 21 points and eight rebounds, while John Wall finished with a 20-point, 12-assist double-double.
The Pacers were led by Myles Turner with 17 points and nine rebounds, Paul George had 17 points and seven rebounds, and Al Jefferson and Rodney Stukey combined for 24 with 12 points apiece.
Bulls ram Celtics
Two free-throws with nine-tenths of a second left in the game was what it took for the Chicago Bulls to win the game 104-103. Jimmy Butler had 29 points, four rebounds and seven assists, Bobby Portis had 19 points and eight rebounds, while Robin Lopez finished with 15 points and eight rebounds.
Isaiah Thomas led the Celtics with 29 points and seven assists, Kelly Olynyk had 17 points, seven rebounds and four assists, and Terry Rozier ended the game with 11 points, three rebounds and three assists.
