Ghana Forward Ben Bentil scored 15 points in 17 minutes of game time in Fort Wayne Mad Ants 109-120 loss to Canton Charge in the NBA Development League.
The former Providence College stretch Forward grabbed three rebounds and made a steal in an efficient performance for his side. He connected 5 of 11 shots from the field, 3 of 6 from three point range and 2 of 4 from the free throw line.
Fort Wayne was led in scoring by Small Forward Stephan Hicks with 19 points with Point Guard Quinn Cook scoring 36 points for Canton.
Quinn started in place of Kay Felder who got called up to Cleveland Cavaliers roster that faced Minnesota Timberwolves; the Cavs won 116-108.
Elsewhere, Former NBA Guard Nate Robinson made his D-League debut by scoring just three points in Delaware 87ers 123-101 win over Maine Red Claws.
In other related news, Sports Fuel Company Gatorade, will partner the league beginning next season after the NBA announced a deal with the company. As a result, the league will be known as the G-League.
