Sunday witnessed four exciting NBA games with two of them having surprising upsets: the New York Knicks beat the San Antonio Spurs and the Detroit Pistons came back from a double-digit deficit to beat the Raptors in Toronto.

Pistons take Toronto

After trailing for most of the game, the Detroit Pistons recovered to beat the Toronto Raptors 102-101 in the final seconds of the game. Tobias Harris had 24 points and six rebounds, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope had 21 points, and Andre Drummonds finished with a 10-point, 18-rebound double-double.

The Raptors were led by DeMar DeRozan with 26 points and seven rebounds, Jonas Valanciunas had 17 points and nine rebounds, while Kyle Lowry finished with 15 points, six rebounds and five assists.

Wolves bite Bulls

The Minnesota Timberwolves took advantage of the absence of Jimmy Butler and Dwyane Wade and handed the Chicago Bulls a 117-89 beating. Andrew Wiggins had 27 points, six rebounds and four assists, Karl-Anthony Towns had 22 points, seven rebounds and four assists, and Senegalese center Gorgui Dieng ended the game with a 10-point, 13-rebound double-double.

Bobby Portis led the Bulls with 16 points and six rebounds, Doug McDermott had 16 points, while Michael Carter-Williams finished with 12 points, seven rebounds and six assists.

Knicks protect the Garden

The New York Knicks shocked the number two team in the Western Conference and beat the San Antonio Spurs 94-90. Carmelo Anthony had 25 points and seven rebounds, Derrick Rose had 18 points and four rebounds, while Kristaps Porzingis had 16 points and seven rebounds.

The Spurs were led by Kawhi Leonard with 36 points, nine rebounds, four assists and four steals, LaMarcus Aldridge had a 15-point, 10-rebound double-double, while David Lee finished with 10 points and seven rebounds.

Kings conquer NOLA

The Sacramento Kings defeated the New Orleans Pelicans 105-99 on the back of DeMarcus Cousins’ 28-point, 14-rebound double-double, Darren Collison had 20 points, six rebounds and eight assists, and Ben McLemore had 11 points.

Anthony Davis led the Pelicans with a 32-point, 10-rebound double-double, Jrue Holiday had a 16-point, 11-assist double-double and Dante Cunningham finished with 14 points and six rebounds.
