Executives, Coaches and representatives of Clubs set to compete in this year’s Accra Basketball League (ABL) are expected at the forecourt of the Lebanon House Basketball Court for a meeting on Monday, February 13. The function starts at 8:00 AM GMT.

Top of the agenda for the meeting is balloting of fixtures for the upcoming season that will determine the outlay for teams competing in the respective divisions.

ABL has three divisions that are the Men’s Division I and Division II and Women’s Division.

Other issues including the ongoing registration of players and teams will be carried out with league officials expected to be in attendance.

Registration began on January 19 and ends on February 24.

The 2017 ABL season starts on March 9 with games in the Women’s Division that will be followed by those in the Men’s Divisions I and II respectively in subsequent days.

Braves of Customs are defending Champions in both Men’s Division I and Women’s Division. Division II Champions Adenta Leopards will compete in the upper tier after gaining promotion.
