KAAF University College Student Representative Council (SRC) President Solomon Asante has stated his outfit isn’t “worried” about upcoming challenges in the 2018 Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges (UPAC) Basketball Championship.
The privately owned tertiary institution’s Male Basketball Team will competed for the second time in the aforementioned competition after making its debut last year.
KAAF has been drawn in Zone 3 alongside University of Cape-Coast (UCC), University of Education-Winneba (UEW) and Cape-Coast Technical University.
In the 2017 Championship, KAAF played in Zone 1 but the change in zones has been taken in stride by Asante who stated:
“We are close to Central Region we know them we play together so I mean it’s nothing at all to be worried about”.
In the 207 Zonal competition, KAAF missed out on a berth in the quarterfinal stage of the Championship as All Nations University College clinched the sole spot in the zone.
Games in Zone 3 will be played on Saturday March 10 in Winneba.
