Hawks ground Rockets
The Atlanta Hawks beat the Houston Rockets 113-108. Tim Hardaway Jr had 33 points and six rebounds, Dwight Howard had a 24-point, 23-rebound double-double, and DeAndre Bembry had 10 points and four rebounds.
Despite his team’s loss, James Harden had 41 points, eight rebounds and eight assists, and set a franchise record, Clint Capela had 22 points and nine rebounds, and Eric Gordon finished with 13 points, three rebounds and three assists.
Wizards astound Lakers
The Washington Wizards had their 16th consecutive home win after beating the Los Angeles Lakers 116-108. John Wall had a 33-point, 11-rebound double-double, Bradley Beal had 23 points and four assists, while Marcin Gortat ended the game with a 21-point, 14-rebound double-double.
The Lakers were led by Jordan Clarkson with 20 points, D’Angelo Russell had a 17-point, 11-rebound double-double, and South Sudanese forward Luol Deng finished with 17 points and six rebounds.
Spurs outplay Sixers
The San Antonio Spurs are now 38-11 after beat ting the Philadelphia 76ers 102-86 on the back of Kawhi Leonard’s 19 points, eight rebounds and five assists. Dewayne Dedmon had a 13-point, 10-rebound double-double, and David Lee had 12 points and nine rebounds.
Ersan Ilyasova led Philly with a 25-point, 10-rebound double-double, Dario Saric had 14 points and nine rebounds, while Jahlil Okafor ended the night with nine points and nine rebounds.
Warriors subdue Clippers
Joint Western Conference player of the month Stephen Curry’s 29-point, 11-assist double-double helped the Golden State Warriors defeat the LA Clippers 133-120. His counterpart Kevin Durant also had a double-double with 26-points and 10-assists, and Klay Thompson finished the game with 21 points and seven rebounds.
The Clippers were led by Blake Griffin with 31 points and eight rebounds, Jamal Crawford had 21 points and four assists, and Austin Rivers had 18 points, four rebounds and six assists.
