Later tonight a bevy of Ghanaian players will be in action as they take to the court on a busy night in the US.

At the Collegiate level, Ernest Aflakpui, Amida Brimah and Ahmed Bashir are set to play for their respective university teams whilst Ben Bentil readies to play in the NBA Development League.

Aflakpui’s Temple University takes on University of Memphis at home-Liacouras Center- as Bashir Ahmed’s St. John’s University plays Providence College.

Having starred for Providence, Ben Bentil became the first ever Ghana-born player to be drafted into the NBA.

Following a whirlwind early introduction to his professional career, Bentil has signed with NBA D-League side Fort Wayne Mad Ants.

The Indiana Pacers affiliate side plays against Erie BayHawks.
