Ghanaian Boxing legend and key basketball fan Professor Azumah Nelson has urged campers of the 2014 Ghana Basketball and Leadership Camp to follow their dreams.
Over 30 players are taken part in the second edition of the prestigious camp at the University of Ghana campus.
They have been taken through several drills at the Liman Hall where they are getting grasp of the fundamentals of the game.
Azumah spent a day with the campers where he shared his life experiences with the budding talents.
It was highly educative and fun-filled as they campers got the rare opportunity of speaking with the American boxing hall of famer.
The two-time WBC Super featherweight champion of the world, spoke on a wide range of issues and answered burning questions from campers and advised them to hold onto their basketball dreams.
“My life is an ample testimony of what determination, commitment and hard work can do for a person,” he said.
“You got to believe in what your good at. You have to be assiduous and steadfast in your ambition.
“I will urge you to follow your dreams and know that with determination, the sky will be the limit for you.
“You have to keep keeping on and I believe with the right attitude and approach to life, you will thrive in this game.
“Basketball is a great sport with massive potential to make you successful in life. You’ve got to train and work hard and you will attain your goals.”
