Boston Celtics big man Al Horford missed Monday’s game against the Miami Heat due to personal reasons, coach Brad Stevens told reporters in Miami.
Horford and his wife had been expecting the birth of the family’s second child. Stevens told reporters that he expects Horford to be back with the team Tuesday.
The Celtics beat the Heat 112-104 to move to 10-7 on the season. They now are 5-5 without Horford, who also has missed nine games this season due to a concussion.
