Xinjiang Flying Tigers Forward Ben Bentil continues his impressive start to life in the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) with a 23 point performance in the Tigers 112-107 win over Liaoning Flying Leopards.
His scoring output earned his side a second straight win in the CBA after recovering from a two game slide prior to the Ghanaian international’s deal with the club. In his first outing, Bentil scored 28 points in Xinjiang’s 139-117 win Lilin.
Thanks to its two game winning run, Xinjiang sits third in the CBA standings with nine wins and two losses for the season. The side will take on second placed Shanghai Sharks on Wednesday November 30; Zhejiang Guangsha leads the standings with 10 wins and a loss.
