University of Connecticut (UCONN)Center Amida Brimah played only ten minutes in his side’s 93-82 win over Chaminade University in the ongoing Maui Invitational Tournament in Honolulu, Hawaii. He registered a seven point, three rebounds, a block and a steal in the limited minutes on the court.
The Ghanaian fourth year player subbed in and out of the game with backup Center Steven Enoch during the game; his second foul of the night came after coming on for the second year player. Brimah’s influence on the boards was on full display by grabbing two quick rebounds in just 28 seconds that sandwiched Guard Jalen Adams layup.
UCONN plays its final game of the tournament later tonight against Oregon Ducks.
In his final season for the 2014 NCAA Champions, the 6 foot 11 inch Ghanaian will be depended on to provide stellar defense to the side. On a personal level, Brimah needs an outstanding season to fix himself strongly in the conversation of 2017’s Draft after an unimpressive season last year.
