Community 12 (C12) Shooting Guard David Okoe Laryea is relishing the opportunity to replicate his performance in Tema Central’s 44-40 win over Flashlights of Tema New Town in the Ebi Bright Basketball Tournament.

Speaking to Basketballghana.com on the sidelines of the Tema Community 4 Court after the win, Laryea believes strongly his league side will complete the double over Flashlights but this time, in the league third place matchup.

When asked on his team’s chances on repeating the win, he said, “We can do the same thing because we have about three players on this Tema Central team so I think we can do the same”.

Aside Laryea, Community 12 had Solomon Oppong, Jibril Musah and Razak Sulley play for Tema Central in the special one day tournament that was funded by National Democratic Congress parliamentary candidate for Tema Central Ebi Bright.

A week prior, all four players played crucial roles for C12’s win over Flashlights in Game 2 to tie the series for third place. Game 3 will take place at the same venue on Sunday November 13.

The game will be the season’s final game as Nungua Coldstore’s Game 2 win over Ashaiman Lions earned the side the league title.
