Mudiay was in the groove as he went 11-18 from the field, shot 3-5 from beyond the arc and was a perfect 5-5 from the free throw line. In addition to his hot scoring he pulled down eight rebounds, dished two assists, stole the ball once and he blocked a shot.
Boston’s task wasn’t ever going to be an easy one as they were injury-depleted going into Sunday’s game, missing Jae Crowder and new recruit Al Horford.
Also weighing in with points for the Nuggets were Wilson Chandler, who added 22 points before leaving the game through injury, Danilo Gallinari, who scored 16, and Gary Harris and Jamal Murray who each had 12 for the Nuggets. Kenneth Faried had a double-double off the bench with 12 points and 11 rebounds.

For the C’s Isaiah Thomas lead the way as he also scored a season high tying 30 points. Avery Bradley ended the game with a double-double 14 points and 11 boards. While Marcus Smart was the only other player to score in double digits as he scored 13 points.
It was a hugely impressive game for the Nuggets and especially for Mudiay who will be keen to kick on from this and have many more big nights this season.
