Basketball television show “Fast Break” has missed out being awarded Sports Program of the Year at the 2016 Radio, Television and Personality (RTP) Awards at the Accra International Conference Center.
The well patronized program which ended in the wee hours this morning also had Fast Break Host Yaw Sakyi Afari miss out in the Sports Show Host of the Year category.
“Fire for Fire” was adjudged Sports Program of the Year and host Patrick “Songo” Osei-Agyemang was named Sports Show Host of the Year.
The hour long television program which airs on Sundays between 13:00 and 14:00 GMT, earned major headlines for becoming the first basketball related program to be nominated under three since its’ first broadcast on Ghana channel TV3.
