Coordinator for this year’s Accra Basketball League (ABL) Executive Elections Alexander Tindani has has stated the process is going smoothly.
The elections which is taking place at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu is largely seen as a necessary exercise to bring in new personalities to tackle growing problems in Ghana’s premier club basketball league.
Tindani, who doubles as Ghana Navy Coach and Interim ABL Organizer, was present at the venue observing proceedings when Basketballghana.com touched base at the event.
Speaking exclusively to Ghana’s leading hoops portal, Tindani said, “As it stands now, the elections is ongoing we are looking forward for the remaining teams in Division II to come and cast their votes…as it stands everything is going on well we have monitors and an electoral body monitoring all these things”.
Ahead of the voting deadline at 16:00 GMT, aspirant for the vacant Chairman spot Andrew Okoe Bulley is on track to be declared the new Chairman elect since he is the only candidate running for the office.
Other positions like Organizing Secretary is contested by multiple people.
