Community 12 and Flashlights of Tema New Town will contest for third place in the ongoing Tema Community Basketball League playoffs on Sunday October 23 at 14:30 GMT.
The game will take place at the Community 4 Basketball Court before the opening game of the league final between Nungua Coldstore and Ashaiman Lions series tips off.
Having missed on a final spot, Flashlights and Community 12 will try to outdo either side to lay hands on the bronze medal in the maiden edition of the league. The three game series will have the athletic and flashy “12” side try to turn its gifted roster into an early win after falling 34-41 to Ashaiman.
The side showed a lot of heart to claw back from a 23-33 deficit at the end of the third quarter, to level matters at 34 in the fourth quarter. Flashlights on the other hand, got peppered with shot after shot by Nungua who led from start to finish completing a blowout 39-15 win.
New Town and Community 12 featured in the Group A in the regular season; Nungua and Ashaiman did same in Group B.
