University of Energy and Natural Resources (UENR) Basketball Team faces a mammoth challenge in the fourth week of the Global Sporting Platforms (GSP) as the side prepares to go up against league leaders Barracks Scorpions on October 22.
The tertiary side sits seventh in the standings after picking up just a win in three games played in the season. Despite fielding virtually the same roster that performed well last year and won the 2016 UPAC Basketball Championship Zonal Qualifiers, the side has struggled to get going this year.
On the other hand, Scorpions are simply flying this season after winning all three games including a hard fought 38-34 win over host Sunyani Polytechnic in Week Three.
Desert Rabbits will engage second placed Suncity Braves in a tough matchup as both teams find themselves among the top four spots.
All games will be honored at the Sunyani Polytechnic Basketball Court with the opening game between the home side and LIR Royals tipping off at 8:00am.
