Alex Kwapong Hall has recorded a win via a walkover following the latter’s failure to turn for the matchup in the University of Ghana Inter Halls League first round final round of games at the University’s Center Court.

Kwapong was scheduled to play City Campus Team as this season’s league first stanza came to an end. Players from Kwapong were ready to play but the game was ruled off after players from City Campus failed show up several minutes after tip off time.

As a result, Kwapong has earned a win to climax the season. The waved off game did result in fans missing out on seeing Shooting Guard Emmanuel Wolff in action.

The former Koforidua Secondary Technical School standout has become a folk hero following his dagger three point shot that earned University of Ghana the 2016 UPAC (Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges) Basketball Championship.

The second part of the league including the final four and final game, will take place next year during the University’s second semester. Over the years, the inter halls league has become a vital part of the institution’s recruitment policy.
