The Sunyani Polytechnic Basketball Court will host Week Three games in the ongoing Global Sporting Platforms (GSP) Basketball League in Ghana’s Brong-Ahafo regional capital, Sunyani. The second edition of the fledgling league bounced back after a long break with four ties honored at the league’s newest venue-the Eusbett Hotel Basketball Court last weekend.

Desert Rabbits will play University of Energy and Natural Resources (UENR) Basketball Team in the opening game at 9:00 am before Barracks Scorpions take on home side Sunyani Poly, West Siders play LIR and Catholic University College, Ghana (CUCG) Saints take on Suncity Braves.

The final game of the round between CUCG Saints and Braves will be the headlining matchup of the round as the tie features two of three teams who are yet to lose a game in the season. Both sides have two wins from two games played thus far in the season.

However the aforementioned pair sit third and second respectively in the standings behind leaders Barracks Scorpions who come up against Sunyani Polytechnic in a tricky duel for both sides. The result at the end of the duel between LIR and West Siders will determine which of the sides end its losing streak first; both teams are yet to register a win this season.

Below is a full breakdown of how the teams stand after Week Two:
