Top rated basketball television show “Fast Break” is in line to win Sports Program of the Year at the upcoming 2016 Radio Television and Personality (RTP) Awards and Host of the program Yaw Sakyi Afari is in line to win Sports Presenter of the Year.
The program which is set to take place at the Accra International Conference Center on October 22 will have voters determine winners of the various categories. To vote for Fast Break to win the category, voters to text “Fast Break” to short code 1446 for all networks in Ghana.

Since its inception, Fast Break has been the leading basketball program in Ghana as the sport continues to grow in the West African country.
Key personalities in the sport and beyond have made appearances on the show including 2015 NBA Hall of Fame inductee Dikembe Mutombo and Toronto Raptors General Manager Masai Ujiri.
Veteran Yaw Sakyi has been at the forefront of basketball’s revolution in Ghana through several ventures particularly the Sprite Ball Championship which will be celebrating its tenth anniversary come January 2017.
