The Tema Community Basketball League postseason will tip off Sunday October 9 at the Community 4 Basketball Court with a pair of mouthwatering lineups that feature reigning “Basketball Battle” Champions Nungua Coldstore.

Coldstore will take on Community 12 as regular season winners of Group B, Ashaiman Lions will be engaged in a tough duel with Flashlights of Tema New Town.

After winning the two day basketball post season curtain raiser competition, all eyes will be on Nungua to continue its dominant form against the tough Community 12 side that features an impressive collection of talents including front court mates Emmanuel Ocquaye and Joseph Boye with Point Guard Kingsley Quist behind.

Coldstore does posses an equally deep team with the likes of Kwame Boamah Djan, Nana Afriyie Owusu and “Basketball Battle” Most Valuable Player who would be closely to avoid the springy Forward hammer down one of his trademark dunks.

Hurt by losing the “Battle” final against fellow Group B side, Ashaiman lions will be poised to send a message of intent for the championship when it comes face to face against Flashlights. This is the maiden edition of the league and is already a major draw for fans.
