Chris Bosh’s NBA season at this point appears over, if not his career. After failing his physical, Bosh has maintained that his career is not over, but the Heat have clearly moved on. Bosh has hard feelings over everything that has happened, including feeling that the Heat “wrote him off,” which the Heat deny .
On Wednesday, the AP reported that Bosh has fired his long-time representatives at CAA. He was repped by Leon Rose.
Unsure how this will ultimately affect anything, but AP is told that Chris Bosh has fired CAA as his representatives.
Earlier this summer, Bosh was seen in social media photos with LeBron James confidante Maverick Carter, which makes you wonder if there could be a move toward Klutch Sports and James’ agent Rich Paul. It also prompts speculation that Bosh felt his agent had too easily accepted the Heat diagnosis and wouldn’t continue to help him pursue his career.
There has been no word yet if the Heat will waive Bosh, paying him the remainder of his contract and making him a free agent — in the event that he could find a team’s staff that would clear him. But if that’s the case, Bosh will be negotiating with his new team with a new representative.
