For the second straight day, DC Dynamics from Dansoman failed to make an appearance at the Lebanon House Court to honor a game in the ongoing Peace Hoops 2016 Basketball Tournament which will have Day 4 action take place later today.
The Dansoman-based side was scheduled to play Novas from Nima in the second game on Day 3 but did not turn up for the game. This follows the team’s absence on the court in the tie against Junior Reformers from Osu on Tuesday in a rearranged matchup after rains forced officials to cancel the game which was originally scheduled to take place on Monday.
On Monday, September 26, some members of the playing team and Coach Feranmi Olulonyo were spotted around the premise of the court Basketballghana.com can confirm.
However, the tournament which aims to promote peace awareness in communities during Ghana’s national and parliamentary elections slated for December this year went ahead with two scheduled games being honored with two more being replayed.
Reformers who recorded a 56-42 win over Teshie Rangers on Day 3, will take on Nima Novas with the day’s activities starting at 15:00 GMT.
Dynamics senior side will be in action on Friday against Tema Youth as the postseason begins. Peace Hoops is supported by Politician and Philanthropist Dr. Zanetor Agyemang-Rawlings.
