Accra Basketball League Men’s Division I outfit Reformers of Prisons 62-63 loss to Fire Service in the final regular season game for both sides, completed the playoff fixtures as exciting pairings have been drawn by the qualified teams.
First placed Braves of Customs will take on eight seed Teshie Rangers in what is expected to be another wipeout following Braves 100-36 beat down it delivered on Rangers when the sides squared off early in the year.
Second seed Tema Youth will likely take on seventh placed DC Dynamics as Tudu Magic plays Reformers of Prisons and Fire Service take on Ghana Navy. Braves tie against Magic getting cancelled due to persistent rain means the pairings are likely not be affected by the game’s result.
The fourth, fifth and sixth placed teams share the same record for the season (five wins in nine games) but get separated on goal difference with Fire benefiting the most.
Basketballghana.com can confirm the league’s top hierarchy is in talks with the sides to fix a new date for the game. The post season is set to begin on September 30 and all games will be played at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu, Accra.
