The maiden Tema Community Basketball League moves into the final round of games in the regular season with Ashaiman Lions and Flashlights leading the way in Groups B and A respectively.
The Lions have lost just a game in the season after recording five wins from six games played thus far to register a total point haul of 11. A 59-31 win over Community 2 over the weekend was the latest in a long line of wins for the lads from Ashaiman.
Nungua Coldstore lies second in Group B behind Ashaiman with 10 points. Winless Community 2 is rock bottom in the standings with just five points.
Matters are fairly closer in Group A with a point separating all three teams. Flashlights of Tema NewTown lead the way with six points from four games played and Community 12 occupying the basement with four points from three games played so far in the season.
