Top rated television basketball program “Fast Break” is in line for a major scoop at the 2016 Radio and Television Personality Awards which is set to take place on October 22.
The program has been nominated in the TV Sports Program of the Year category after an excellent run of quality basketball programming that has been graced by high profile personalities including Toronto Raptors General Mager Masai Ujiri and Miami Heat star Chris Bosh the past two years.
The hour long program which airs on Ghanaian television channel TV3 on Sundays between 13:00 and 14:00 GMT has been front and center of making basketball the second most popular sport in the country.
Veteran Broadcaster Yaw Sakyi Afari has been nominated as Sports Show Host of the Year. The Awards, which is in its sixth edition, will honor media personalities for their outstanding works in the year under review.
