The Accra Basketball League Men’s Division I regular season is slowly closing out and rightly so, the focus is now shifting towards the postseason with Holy Family and Air Force confirmed as the two sides to feature in Division II next season.
However, for the remaining eight, securing higher seeds for the playoffs is the immediate challenge to overcome. Later today at the Lebanon House Court, four of such teams will be involved in massive battles beginning at 17:00 GMT.
Braves of Customs will take on home side Tudu Magic as Reformers of Prisons plays Fire Service in what promises to be an exciting round of matchups. Sitting second in the standings and having a game in hand, Braves have the best opportunities to finish the season as the first seed. To do it must avoid losses in its two remaining games against Magic and Fire Service.
Magic on the other hand, will be on the lookout for a happy ending for the vociferous partisan crowd to what has been a productive spell with the side winning five of eight games.
Sixth placed Reformers and Seventh placed Fire Service will feature in another tough matchup on the day as both sides eye improved positions in the standings.
