Shoot for Life Ministry and Christ Through Sports Ministry has concluded a three day coaching course in Ghana’s Ashanti regional capital Kumasi.

The course which run from August 29 to August 31 at the Baptist Court in Patasi, a suburb of Kumasi had President and Director of Christ Through Sports, Dr. Bruce Price and Dr. Dale Reeves, were the main course instructors as Shoot For Life Ministry’s Coach Amos coordinated affairs.

Technical representatives from Islamic Senior High School, Patasi Invaders, Ejisu Razors were present at the event. Alexander Obeng Takyi of Opoku Ware School and 2016 Ghana Basketball Awards Development Award winner Benjamin Sarpong were also participants in the course.

Sarpong was in the nation’s capital, Accra to witness players from his academy-Chiefs Basketball Academy- gain scholarships after getting selected in the High School and College Draft.

The course took participants extensively through new coaching modules, player and game management and drawing key plays in crunch situations. Shoot for Life Ministry President Pastor Vincent Asamoah stated the course was created to “help young coaches and officiating officials broaden their knowledge” Basketballghana.com gathers.
Participants were awarded certificates of participation and jerseys.

Shoot for Life Ministry is a Christian organization that uses basketball through clinics to reach out to young individuals with God’s word.
