Highly rated Ghanaian songstress Ethel Esi Eshun popularly known as eShun has been tabbed to perform at the 2016 Ghana Basketball Awards which takes place on August 12 at the Best Western Premier Hotel in Accra.
The young singer shot to fame by finishing second in the renowned Glo X-Factor music reality show in 2014 and has since released hit songs including “Meye” and “Dance with Daddy” which she dedicated to all fathers.
eShun recently released her new single “Didadi” and has been performing as the lead singer for the Calabash band.
She joins comedian DKB as part of a stellar cast set to light up the stage on Friday before esteemed dignitaries including Toronto Raptors General Manager Masai Ujiri and NBA Vice President and managing director for Africa Amadou Gallo Fall set to be in attendance.
The prestigious annual event will also have Ghana Sports Minister Nii Lante Vanderpuye and Ghana Basketball Association Chairman David Addo Ashong grace the occasion.
Friday’s event will be the third edition of the Rite Sports organized event.
