The Accra Basketball League Men’s Division latest games will be honored later today at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu with a couple of new faces returning to action.
Reformers of Prisons and Tudu Magic after long lengthy layoffs will play Navy and Holy Family respectively as Tema Youth takes on Fire Service in a jam packed round.
The last time Reformers played was against Teshie Rangers which they won all the way back in early July. The side has not seen any action since then and will look to shake off some rust in time for the playoffs that the side bar a major collapse will make.
Like Reformers, Tudu Magic has not been in action since beating Rangers on July 1. The side has had consecutive games against Fire Service and Braves postponed due to logistical challenges at the Lebanon Court.
However, the side will be up against a Holy Family side that ended a five game losing streak in the previous round are revving to go for another win and stave off relegation. 2016 Ghana Basketball Awards Coach of the Year nominee James Okine will be on the sideline steering his side to a favorable draw and possibly some undecided voters.
The prestigious Awards will take place on August 12 at the Best Western Premier Hotel in Accra.
Fire Service unbeaten run came to an end with a narrow 65-66 loss to DC Dynamics but will have an arduous task getting back in the win column when it faces second placed Tema Youth.
