Positions in the standings of the Accra Basketball League (ABL) are likely to remain same after fixtures second round fixtures set to played later today are completed.
Reformers will play Navy in the early game at 16:00 GMT before Braves of Customs play Galaxy later today at the Prisons Court in Cantonments, Accra.
With Braves having played a game less than near rivals Air Force and having a superior goal difference, the defending champions position at the summit of the standings is safe. Second placed Air Force has played a game more than close challengers Galaxy and Reformers.
Galaxy can replace Air Force in second place only with a massive win against Braves as a win will see the side leapfrog Air Force in the standings. However, the task of beating the reigning champions gets much difficult as Galaxy needs to win with a 71 points advantage to secure second place.
Air Force has 12 points and a goal difference of 71 but Galaxy has 10 points and has a neutral goal difference having scored and conceded 194 points respectively.
On the other hand, a loss for Galaxy and a win for Reformers against winless Navy will see the Black and Reds slip to fourth on the table.
