With mere days to left for the 2016 Ghana Basketball Awards to be held, 2015 winner Romeo Enan has detailed his plans during the off season following an impressive debut in the DSTV Basketball League in Nigeria for Kwara Falcons.
The 2015 Tertiary Player of the Year stated his intentions to rest before playing in the Africa Clubs Champions Cup later this year in an interview with Basketballghana.com
“After the league… I came to Ghana to have a little rest and go back to Nigeria because I have been called to participate in the club championship to help either Kano Pillars or Nigeria Customs so after checking the proposals and I will decide which team am going for” he said.
Enan, a former Accra Polytechnic and Braves of Customs Center, was voted Most Outstanding Player in the All-Star Game played between Savanna Conference and Atlantic Conference. He also played an instrumental role in Falcons fourth place finish in the season.
During his tenure in Ghana, Enan won multiple titles with Accra Polytechnic and Braves including the Accra Basketball League, West Africa Polytechnic Games and Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges (UPAC) Basketball Championships respectively.
