Despite shocking and blowout victories in contrasting fashion in the Men’s Division II and Women’s Division of the Accra Basketball League (ABL) respectively, standings in both divisions remain unchanged.
The men’s upper division had changes at the midpoint following wins by DC Dynamics and Braves in the last round.
Leaders Braves and Air Force still dominate proceedings in the women’s division after trashing bottom sides Navy and Fire Service.
The wins and losses mean all four teams stay put in their respective positions prior to games played over the weekend.
Tema Youth caused a stir by beating Reformers 63-61 with three players on the court after running out of bodies due to foul trouble. However, that and Galaxy’s first win of the season did not change the rankings as both sides occupy the last two spots in the standings.
Braves male side sit in first place following an unbeaten run in six games but Dynamics win pushes them from bottom to seventh. Below is a complete list of standings for the respective divisions:
