Teshie Rangers Captain Wisdom Etsorgali has cited chemistry issues due to lack of training as the main reason behind his side’s poor showing in recent games in the Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division I.

The Teshie-based outfit has lost two straight games to Fire Service and Navy with the latter demolishing the side 71-40. Both losses have been heavy leading to many questions about the team’s toughness following promotion to Division I.

“Is simply due to our inability to train. We lacked chemistry and failed to shoot (and) defend. We were outplayed by Navy” he said.

However, Etsorgali was adamant his side will bounce back in the best way possible, stating:

“We working at it and will bounce back. We are still motivated to play in the league despite our losing streak…we will be a different team”

Rangers readiness will be tested later today at the Prisons Court as they face home side Reformers in the final game of the day. The team will be keen to avoid extending a three game losing streak in the process.
