Two consecutive rounds have been postponed due to heavy rains that have pummeled Ghana’s capital Accra affecting games in the Accra Basketball League (ABL). Games in the Men’s Division will light up the Lebanon House Court in Tudu later today as an exciting round of games are set to be honored.
Holy Family and Reformers of Prisons will tip the round off at 17:00 GMT before Fire Service engages Teshie Rangers in the round’s top liner. Tema Youth will play Air Force in the final game of the day.
Fire Service has the distinguished honor of being one of two teams- Tma Youth being the other-capable of beating multiple champions Braves of Customs. The team’s mettle will be tested by a rampaging Teshie Rangers side that has been a surprise package this season following promotion to Division I from the second division.
Reformers will be in buoyant mood to register another victory in the season as they come face to face with Holy Family who are yet to register a win in the season. Reformers looked a very good side in two games played this season and will be favorites to win this matchup.
Last season’s runners up Tema Youth face Air Force in the final game of the day with lots at stake as both teams are in need of a win to pressure leaders Braves and fend off a bottom place respectively.
