The Accra Basketball League (ABL) Women’s Divisional games will be honored at the Prisons Court later today with Air Force set to take on defending champions Braves of Customs at 15:00 GMT. Navy will play Galaxy Ladies in the final game of the day.
However, both games can be played only if weather conditions remain favorable since two consecutive round of games have been postponed due to heavy rains which have hit Ghana’s capital, Accra.
The Prisons Court and Lebanon House courts, which serve as league venues, are outdoor courts which make both prone to the weather.
The matchup between Air Force and Braves of Customs will be the headline act as both teams battle to maintain their unbeaten streaks in the season. In three games, both teams are to yet to lose having brushed aside the likes of Reformers and Fire Service.
Navy will take on Galaxy knowing a win is vital to their season’s survival. The team is winless in three games whereas their opponents have two wins from three games played in 2016.
On the other hand, postponed games are yet to be rescheduled.
