Following two straight weeks of rain induced postponement of games in the Accra Basketball League (ABL), Tudu Magic Coach James Okine has called on league administrators to know when to organize the league.

The live wire coach made the statement after fifth round games in the league were postponed due to threatening rainfall.

Speaking to Basketballghana.com in the aftermath of his side’s failure to honor a game against DC Dynamics and Navy in consecutive weeks was disappointed with the effects of the rains which he conceded cannot be blamed. He said:

“I can’t blame nature but our organizers need to know when it is better to organize a tournament because we don’t have indoor courts…I blame nobody but we should know better.”

Magic has won a game from two games played thus far in the season and sit sixth on the standings. Beating the winless Dynamics and very good Navy side would have catapulted the team to the top positions on the standings.

However, both games got postponed due to bad weather and are yet to be rescheduled.
