San Antonio Power Forward David West was a guest on Ghana’s premium basketball television show “Fast Break” during his second trip to the country. The former Indiana Pacers player shared the stage with Chief Executive Officer of Prolific Sports Kenny Andam and host Yaw Sakyi Afari.
In a hearty conversation with host Yaw Sakyi, West opined on several issues which included the ongoing NBA playoffs finals series between defending champions Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers. He also noted his presence in the country was to impart knowledge gained by playing in the world’s best league for 13 years.
On his part, Kenny Andam, a former Ghanaian athlete stated West would be helping his team of international scouts identify talents in basketball and other sports notably soccer and athletics in the country.
Prolific Sports will officially launch the talent program which aims to identify talented youth and help secure scholarship programs in the US.
“Fast Break” has been airing on Ghana television channel TV3 for two straight years and some of the biggest names in the game have made appearances on the show including Luol Deng and Chris Bosh.
