Braves of Customs top standings in the men and women divisions of the Accra Basketball League (ABL) respectively heading into the fifth week of the season. In Division Two of the men’s game, Adenta Leopards have blitzed competition in the second tier.
Braves Male team has won all three games thus far in the season by beating Holy Family, Navy and Air Force. The multiple champions have obliterated the competition recording massive goal differences. Coach Brimah Lawal’s men are on track to defend its’ title despite the league being very young. Aside going unbeaten through three games, Braves leads the field with a plus 108 point difference.
In the Ladies division, Braves female side has replicated its’ male counterparts form by going unbeaten in three games. The side with Emmanuel Quaye on the sideline has been the best side in the division trouncing the likes of Galaxy, Fire Service and Navy. It too is on track to annex the division once again. Braves Ladies lead the field in goal difference having accumulated a plus goal difference of 66.
Adenta Leopards impressive season continues to gain steam as the team which looks destined to gain promotion to the upper tier. The Adenta based side has beaten the likes of CYO, Galaxy and Reformers of Prisons with rap superstar Jayso cheering from the sideline. Below is the detailed breakdown of the ABL after Week Four:
