The Accra Basketball League (ABL) Women’s Division will for the first time, have four games to be played at the Prisons Court, Cantonments in Ghana’s capital, Accra. The host team Reformers of Prisons will take on Police at 15:00 GMT with Reformers in buoyant mood following 51-43 win over Navy in a previous encounter.

Having not played since May 5, Air Force’ ability to replicate a controlled albeit winning performance against Navy after the length lay off will be tested. On the hand, Fire must win the matchup to have any chance of a title shot having suffered consecutive defeats to Reformers and defending champions Braves of Customs.
After three rounds, the University of Ghana (UG) team will make its long awaited debut in the ABL 2016 season. The team will be in action later today against Galaxy Ladies who lost to Braves in last week’s encounter. Having led 11-6 after the first quarter, team faded away in the final quarters due to what Coach Hashim Brimah pinned down on fatigue.
Braves of Customs will be on the lookout for a third straight win as they take on Navy. With two losses and a win which came courtesy Police forfeiting a matchup, Navy Coach Alexander Tindani ought to pull out all the stomps to get the win.
