DC Dynamics were exposed by University of Ghana (UG) on a number of things after Dynamics lost 36-38 to UG in a friendly game according to Dynamics coach Feranmi Olulonyo.
The charismatic coach made the statement when contacted by Basketballghana.com after his team’s close loss to the reigning Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges (UPAC) Basketball Championship winners over the weekend. He said:
“They (UG) also exposed us on a number of things…We need to work on a few things at practice. We are going to face tough opponents in the league”.
Dynamics is set to feature in the 2016 Greater Accra Men’s Division I Basketball League on May 5 following the league’s postponement from its’ original date-April 22. However, the team will be in action in the second week when it takes Airforce.
Tema Youth will engage Fire in the opening game of the new season. Navy will take on Reformers as tough-talking coach James Okine leads Magic to take on Holy Family in the day’s other games.
University of Ghana recorded its’ first ever UPAC title after beating Accra Polytechnic 45-44 in the final. The team which also holds the GUSA (Ghana Universities Sports Association) Basketball title will compete in an international championship in South Africa later this year.
