DC Dynamics’ much awaited debut in the Greater Accra Men’s Division I Basketball League Division has been put on hold till May 5 following the postponement of the league’s commencement from Friday April 22.
The decision to postpone the league’s commencement per reports reaching Basketballghana.com was due to the Greater Accra Basketball Association’s need for extended time to aptly appraise the league from a technical angle.
Due to this, the Dansoman-based club will have to wait two more weeks before the team makes its debut in Ghana’s top flight basketball division. The team gained promotion from the second tier-Division I- after winning the division in impressive fashion.
Dynamics is headed by enterprising Coach Feranmi Olulonyo and features top shelf talents who play a team-oriented, modern brand of basketball.
The team will play Airforce in the second week before taking on Rangers and Reformers in subsequent weeks. The second week will also feature reigning league champions Braves of CEPS start its title defense against Rangers.
The opening day will have six teams in action at Lebanon House with Tema Youth taking on Fire, Navy taking on Reformers and Magic squaring off with Holy Family in the day’s last game.
