The 2016 Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges (UPAC) Basketball Championship quarter final games tipsoff today at Accra Polytechnic with Takoradi Polytechnic set to take on Marshalls University College in the opening game.
The first day of quarter final games will also feature University of Energy and Natural Resources (UENR) take on Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) andGhana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) take on University of Ghana.
Two-time winners Accra Polytechnic will play late entrants Valley View University in the day’s final game. Valley View University replaced Wa Polytechnic who replaced original participants University of Development Studies-Tamale.
The second day of quarter final games will be played at the University of Ghana on Friday April 15 to be followed by semi final games and final game on April 16 at the same venue.
The 2016 UPAC Championship is headlined by Rexona, supported by MTN, CAL Bank and Fanyogo in partnership with Basketballghana.com, TV3, Y FM and Ghana Sports Newspaper.
