The 2016 Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges (UPAC) Basketball Championship Zone F qualifiers is just minutes from an eagerly anticipated tipoff at Accra Polytechnic.
The third edition of the Championship is headlined by world leading deodorant Rexona and will have hosts Accra Polytechnic take on Zenith University College, Blue Crest College and Valley view University.
Two-time and defending champions Accra Polytechnic will play Valley View University in the first match up with Blue Crest College taking on last season’s quarter finalists, Zenith University College.
Winner of the zone qualifies to the last eight of the competition which will take place at the University of Ghana on April 14. The best second placed team between Zones A,F and G qualifies to the second round as well.
Blue Crest and Valley View are making first ever appearances in a competition that is widely considered Ghana’s best tertiary basketball championship. Both will hope to make a surprise run in the competition with a spot in the last eight of the competition to fight for.
