Blue Crest College basketball team trainer Kofi Agyemang Kwarteng (Right) is adamant his side will perform well at the Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges (UPAC) Basketball Championship which will take place between March 5 and April 16.
The third edition of the tournament is headlined by world best-selling deodorant Rexona and will have 28 tertiary institutions compete for the chance to win Ghana’s biggest tertiary basketball tournament.
Speaking to Basketballghana.com, the young tactician was confident his team will be a strong outfit in the 10 week-long competition. He said:
“We will manage our way through. We will have a game plan to make sure we excel. Am sure we will surprise our opponents.”
Blue Crest face a herculean task to qualify for the quarter final stage as they square off against two-time and defending champions Accra Polytechnic, Zenith University College and Valley View University come March April 1.
