Valley View University basketball coach Bright Nath Otu-Masi revealed the recently held technical meeting ahead of the Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges (UPAC) Basketball Championship has cleared up a lot of issues prior to the tournament.
The 2016 UPAC Championship is headlined by world best-selling deodorant Rexona and will feature 28 tertiary institutions compete for the biggest tertiary basketball competition in Ghana. The 10-week long event will take place between March 5 and April 16.
Speaking to Basketballghana.com, the young tactical head expressed his delight with the achievements of the meeting.
“Very interesting, actually things we didn’t know were made clear to us so when we are coming we come prepared to win the game” he said.
“It’s going to allow us to put more things in place, put more things in order not to go contrary to what we have discussed over here” he responded when asked about the impact of the meeting ahead of the tournament.
Valley View University will play in Greater Accra’s Zone F against two time champions Accra Polytechnic, Zenith University College and Blue Crest College.
The third edition of UPAC is supported CAL Bank, Fanyogo and MTN in partnership with media outlets including TV3, Y FM and Basketballghana.com and Graphic Sports.
